Protein Bisli from Lentil Pasta

A crunchy baked snack made from red lentil pasta, very high in protein, gluten-free, dairy-free and egg-free. Exactly what you crave to munch on when it's cold out.

Ingredients

  • 1 package red lentil pasta
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • Spices to taste - pink Himalayan salt, ground black pepper, cumin, red paprika, smoked paprika and grill seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (optional but highly recommended)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. 2Cook the pasta according to the package instructions.
  3. 3Drain the pasta and transfer it to a bowl.
  4. 4Add the olive oil, spices and nutritional yeast, and mix.
  5. 5Spread on a baking tray and bake for about 20 minutes until golden and crisp.
