Chickpea Protein Chocolate Balls
Protein-rich chocolate balls built on cooked chickpeas, almond flour, and peanut butter, coated in quality dark chocolate. The perfect treat after a strength workout.

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 cups cooked chickpeas (after soaking at least 2 hours)
- 1/2 cup almond flour
- 1/3 cup quality cocoa
- 1/4 cup protein powder (I use bean protein)
- 1/4 to 1/2 cup 100% natural date syrup (silan), depending on how sweet you like it
- 1/4 cup 100% natural peanut butter
- 1/2 cup milk (I used soy milk)
- Quality dark chocolate, at least 70% cocoa solids, melted, for coating
Instructions
- 1Blend all the ingredients except the chocolate in a good blender until you get a smooth batter.
- 2Form into balls or any shape you like.
- 3Place in the fridge to firm up.
- 4Meanwhile, melt the chocolate.
- 5Dip the protein bites in the melted chocolate and return to the fridge to set.
