Sweet Potato and Chickpea Flour Pizza
An incredibly tasty pizza on a sweet potato and chickpea flour crust, gluten-free, dairy-free, egg-free, vegan, and high in protein.

Ingredients
- 2-3 medium sweet potatoes
- 1 cup chickpea flour
- 1 tsp salt
- Black pepper to taste
- 1 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp baking powder or baking soda
- Tomato sauce to taste
- Vegan soy-based yellow cheese
- Toppings to taste
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
- 2Microwave the sweet potatoes for 7-8 minutes until soft enough to mash.
- 3In a bowl, combine the sweet potatoes, chickpea flour, and spices.
- 4Mash everything together until you get a lovely dough.
- 5Spread the dough onto a pizza pan, flatten it, and bake for about 15 minutes at 180°C (350°F).
- 6Remove the crust, spread the sauce over it, and add all the toppings and the vegan yellow cheese.
- 7Return to the oven for another 15 minutes or so, then serve.
