Teff Flour Bread

A teff flour bread that is tasty, healthy and filling, rich in protein and iron, low in carbs, gluten-free and vegan.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups teff flour
  • 1 cup red lentil flour
  • 2 tablespoons baking powder
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup milk (can be replaced with 1 cup water)
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F). I always use the turbo (fan) setting.
  2. 2Mix all the dry ingredients in a bowl.
  3. 3Add the wet ingredients.
  4. 4Mix until you get a uniform batter.
  5. 5Transfer to a baking pan and bake for about half an hour.
