Orange Lentil and Almond Flour Pitas

Healthy pitas with a wonderful pocket for filling, giving you everything a carb can give but in a healthy, low-carb, protein-rich version.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup orange lentil flour
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • A pinch of salt
  • A little olive oil for frying

Instructions

  1. 1Mix all the ingredients in a bowl until you get a slightly sticky batter.
  2. 2Heat a pan with a little olive oil.
  3. 3Place 1/3 of the batter in the pan, flatten it and shape it into a pita.
  4. 4After a few minutes flip to the other side and wait a little longer until the pita is done.
  5. 5And that's it, you have a pita with a wonderful pocket for filling.
