Chickpea Flour Hamburger Buns

Vegan chickpea flour hamburger buns: gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free and high in protein. Incredibly tasty and easy to make.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup chickpea flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 3/4 cup milk (I used soy milk)
  • 1/4 cup whole tahini (I used Ethiopian tahini, rich in calcium)
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup or silan, 100% natural
  • 2 tablespoons chia seeds
  • 2 tablespoons psyllium (a must!)
  • 2 tablespoons brewer's yeast (optional but adds a lot)

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. 2Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  3. 3Shape the buns into any form you like and place them on parchment paper.
  4. 4Bake for about 20 minutes at 180°C (350°F).

This time I'm sharing hamburger buns that came out incredibly tasty, and they're vegan, gluten-free and high in protein too. This amount gave me 3 buns, and I especially loved them with Beyond's vegan burger. Enjoy, bon appetit 🫶🏼
