Vegan Protein Bagels (Gluten-Free)

Crisp, indulgent bagels made from protein yogurt and almond or chickpea flour, high in protein and low in carbs. Sweet or savory, perfect after a strength workout.

Ingredients

  • Protein yogurt (I used a vegan one)
  • 2 cups almond flour for sweet bagels, or chickpea flour for savory bagels
  • For savory bagels: coarse salt, sesame seeds, and za'atar for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F).
  2. 2Mix the yogurt with the almond or chickpea flour into a slightly sticky dough.
  3. 3Divide the dough into four parts and shape each into a bagel.
  4. 4For savory bagels: sprinkle coarse salt, sesame seeds, and za'atar on top.
  5. 5Bake until the bagels are golden and crisp, about 12 to 15 minutes.
