Baked Oatmeal and Apple Breakfast Cake

A baked oatmeal cake with apples, applesauce and protein yogurt. Rich in protein and fiber, gently sweetened with date syrup or natural maple, and perfect for breakfast.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/3 cups gluten-free oats
  • 1 1/3 cups milk of any kind
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • Protein yogurt of your choice
  • 2 tablespoons natural maple syrup or date syrup
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 large apple, diced
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon

Instructions

  1. 1Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. 2In a bowl, start with the dry ingredients, then slowly add the wet ones and mix everything together.
  3. 3Transfer to a baking pan and bake at 180°C (350°F) for 20 minutes.
